  • CEGS-Rozan base-line study project on ‘Masculinities and Gender-Based Violence in Kuri’, conducted fieldwork and developed a report for designing intervention strategies in the community, held in 2018.
  • OXFAM-NOVIB, a project on female child marriage which was completed in January 2017. I was responsible along with a team of other researchers to conduct qualitative and quantitative research and then report writing which will then be used by various think tanks and governmental agencies for their works on eradicating child marriages in Pakistan.
  • Initiated and designed a campaign along with Rozan on challenging masculine stereotypes ‘Reconstructing concepts of masculinity in Quaid-i-Azam University’ (2019)
  • Invited as guest speaker in NIPS (National Institute of Pakistan Studies) to deliver a lecture on ‘Women and Islam’ (2019)
  • Invited as a panelist on PTV (Pakistan Television Corporation-Islamabad) to talk about ‘Tolerance and Co-existence on Campus Spaces’ (2019)
  • Invited as a speaker by Sociology department in Quaid-i-Azam University on Women’s Day for a talk on ‘Rumors and Realities about Women’s Day’ (2020)
  • Invited as a panelist on PTV (Pakistan Television Corporation-Islamabad) to talk about ‘Spaces for Women in Public Sphere and the case of Aurat March’ (2020)
  • Resource person for the course of Gender and Media in Allama Iqbal Open University, 2019
  • Member of Böll Filmscreenings, organized by Heinrich Böll Stiftung in cooperation with the DAAD-Longterm Guest Professor at Quaid-i Azam University (DAAD is the German Academic Exchange Service). This program offers a space where young women can meet, connect and discuss everyday social and political issues.
  • Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC)-(June-September 2016). Co-examiner for the gender studies test in CSS (Central Superior Services). This is a national test once in a year where successful candidates are selected for civil services offices.
